Tip for Managing Anxiety
In-Flight Entertainment welcomes you to Marauder Radio starring Bob Zima, Frequent Flyer to Hell and Back. This pirate radio for male mental wellness is a “tip and trick” doubloon in Bob’s treasure trove of psychological fitness skills that help you improve your life and live the dreams you have created.
On today’s show, Bob discusses how you can manage and reduce your anxiety by acknowledging that you are anxious or worried, accepting why you are feeling this way, and then replacing your thoughts that the world is caving in with thoughts of you facing adversity and overcoming your fear.
Marauder Radio, Pirate Radio for Male Mental Wellness, is a roller-coaster ride of men’s mental health ideas, a treasure trove of inspirational rants from a guy’s perspective, and witty and satirical lampooning of the psychological industry ‘Merica. Bob’s HOOYA (Head Out Of Your Ass) humor therapy encourages all to engage in a cranium-rectum extraction and then get busy having fun and enjoying all that life has to offer.
Bob Zima is a middle-aged, over-educated, under-employed, over-weight, white-guy who believes that when he tries less his life has more success. He is healing every day from addiction, bankruptcy, plenty of bad relationships, dumb-ass career decisions, and the death of two of his children. He has also backpacked through Europe, talked with the Pope, played basketball with Michael Jordan, was selected as the clinical site supervisor of the year in Illinois, and has had his picture taken with the Stanley Cup.
Bob is a licensed clinical professional counselor and improvisational comedy graduate of Chicago’s famed Player’s Workshop of the Second City. He tried to make healing and counseling fun, entertaining, and educational.
